Storytelling Session
$240
Storytelling Sessions are activity-based family sessions designed around the things that make your family your family — the places you love, the things you do together, and the little adventures you want to remember.
Instead of simply posing for photos, we’ll build the session around an experience: picking blueberries on a summer morning, flying kites at the beach, sharing ice cream at your favorite local shop, wandering through a carnival, casting a fishing line at sunset, or sailing across the lake. The activity gives your family something to do, and the story unfolds naturally from there.
I also have a growing list of bucket-list ideas I’ve been dreaming up and would love to bring to life. Because these sessions give me the opportunity to create more creatively and build my portfolio, they’re currently offered at a special discounted rate. Some sessions may also require specific styling, props, or wardrobe pieces to help bring the concept together, which may mean purchasing something specifically for your session.
Every Storytelling Session is planned collaboratively, with thoughtful attention to the activity, location, wardrobe, props, and little details that help bring your family’s story to life. Styling guidelines and any necessary props will be discussed ahead of time so we can make sure everything feels cohesive and intentional.

Portrait Session

Portrait Sessions are full one-hour sessions designed to capture the people, relationships, and moments that matter to you — whether that’s your growing family, your pregnancy, your children, or this season of life as a senior.
These sessions are a little more traditional than my Storytelling Sessions, but they’re still relaxed, natural, and centered around connection. We’ll choose a location that fits the look you’re drawn to, and I’ll guide you through a mix of natural posing, movement, and genuine interaction so you never feel like you have to know what to do in front of the camera.
For families, that might mean playing with your kids, snuggling together, or simply letting them be themselves. For maternity sessions, we’ll focus on the connection and anticipation surrounding this season. For seniors, we’ll create a variety of portraits that reflect their personality and style.
Every session is thoughtfully planned around your family, your vision, and the kind of images you want to have hanging on your walls. Whether you’re looking for something simple and timeless or a little more playful and personal, we’ll create a session that feels true to you.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Relax! I'll guide you every step of the way, from outfit planning to natural posing, so your session feels fun and stress-free.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel within 25 miles of Franklin, WI is included. Sessions outside that area may have a small travel fee.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! I have a location guide full of beautiful spots and can help you choose the perfect one based on the look you're going for.
